DeVine is an established provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.

Our company is looking for a Research Associate, with Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV) and 3D printing a research experience, to join our team in Monterey, CA.  This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.

Our client is conducting research in UUVs and experience with 3D printing and computer-assisted design (CAD) is required.  This is a part time role averaging 20-25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years’ with computer-assisted design (CAD) and 3D printing
• 1+ years’ with experimental research in a Science Technology Engineering and Medicine (STEM) field
• 1+ years’ in designing research within STEM projects
• 1+ years’ experience in writing scientific reports/articles/papers
• At least six months of lab experience working with UUVs
• At least six months of field experience in field testing of UUVs
• US citizenship
